Amazing atmosphere, everyone is super polite, the coffee is soooo good. It’s cheaper than chain coffee places and way better!!

Coral Sword is more than just a coffee shop. It’s a tabletop gaming café where people gather to play board games, trading card games, and connect with others who share the same interests. It was really cool to see so many people laughing, playing, and simply enjoying time together. The café also has a library of board games available to play, and I noticed they reserve tables for gaming groups. It was pretty busy during my visit, but we were still able to find a table. I can imagine this place gets even busier in the evenings. I ordered the iced hazelnut latte with coconut milk. It was okay, but I was hoping for a stronger coffee flavor. I also tried the lemon Danish, and it was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is what really stood out to me. Even if you’re not part of the tabletop gaming community, it’s fun to experience a place where people can gather over a shared hobby. The staff was incredibly welcoming, answered all of my questions, and made me feel right at home. While I probably wouldn’t make a special trip just for the coffee, I’d definitely stop by again if I were in the area. This is such a cute board game cafe, I love everything about it and it will now be my go to hang out spot in Houston. Coffee was decent, good variety of drinks and snacks to have while gaming. Surprising variety of good games in good condition to choose from too! 10/10 recommendation for any tabletop gamer looking for a good hang out spot!

A great coffee shop! It’s paired next to a barbershop, quite small, so not much in terms of parking. However, there is street parking. The aesthetic of Coral Sword is very enriched by its sci-fi/gaming aesthetic. There are plenty of board games and events if you’re looking to come with a group. The coffee is nothing special, but it’s more of a beverage for gatherings.

This place is AMAZING!! Coffee is super delicious! The chocolate croissant was fresh and best ever!🥐 ☕️ I’m very picky with coffee and I would definitely recommend! The line out of the building speaks for itself! The place has all sorts of games and it was such a cool spot to hangout in Houston! My fave!
